Terms of Use of the HCSO Web Site

Your use of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Web Site (hereinafter referred to as the "Web Site") constitutes your agreement to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept any of the terms below, do not use this Web Site.

Not 911 Service
This Web Site should not be relied upon for emergency services and is in no way designed to serve as an alternative to the emergency services provided by 911 telephone service. If you have an emergency or important time-sensitive crime information, communicate this information with HCSO by calling the 911 emergency telephone service.

Acceptable Use
This Web Site may be used only for lawful purposes.

Prohibited Use
All uses of this Web Site which are in violation of any federal, state or local law, Hillsborough County and/or Hillsborough Sheriff's Office (hereinafter referred to as "HCSO") policy or the laws and/or policies of any other governing entity, or of any of these terms and conditions is strictly prohibited.

Users of this Web Site shall not restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying any service conducted on this Web Site, nor shall users upload, transmit, distribute or otherwise publish on this Web Site

• any unlawful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane or indecent materials;
• any materials which infringe any intellectual property right of any third party or advertise or otherwise solicit funds or is a solicitation for goods and services; or

HCSO does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or confidentiality of any communication/information contained in this Web Site.
